Join us as we travel across weirs, beneath trees, through mud and battle our way through the overgrown River Chelmer which is strewn with fallen trees from a recent storm. We deal with bugs and even spiders as they fall into our Kayaks as we squeeze through the undergrowth covering the River. The River Chelmer flows through Essex and through the heart of Chelmsford before it joins the Chelmer and Blackwater Navigation and finally out to sea. I was joined on this adventure with my brother Phil and we decided to give the challenging River Chelmer a go in two inflatable Kayaks. Will our Intex Challenger K1 Inflatable Kayak meet the challenges we will face on the River Chelmer, will they stay afloat or will they sink.
