What happens when you cremate a flint arrowhead!
Historical experiment – Watch what happens when you heat a flint arrowhead to high temperatures. Watch Stephen and Yhana experiment with history as they cremate a Neolithic / Bronze Age Arrowhead. Will it fracture or will it remain whole? Recently on a treasure hunting expedition – Stephen and Yhana discovered a Bronze Age Barbed and Tanged Arrowhead, one of the arrow tangs was broken and one side of the arrow had fractured. Was this a relic from a Bronze Age cremation? If so, can Stephen and Yhana recreate this and test out the theory in a historical experiment. Watch the video for the results. Also, Stephen and Yhana open up an incredible package in this video, a gift from a very kind subscriber. Lawrence is a flint knapper and a master at his craft. He kindly sent Stephen and Yhana a gift of replica arrowheads and other artefacts – One of the arrowheads that Lawrence created was chosen for this video and cremated during this historical experiment. If you would like a replica made from the Mesolithic, Neolithic and Bronze Age periods then Lawrence will be happy to help and take on a private commision.
