In this episode, Yhana, Peter and I, are going to take you on a wonderful walk in Little Waltham, Chelmsford and explore some of the World War II pillboxes that you will find on this journey. We have fun along the way too, as I am a great believer that history should be fun and enjoyable. Our children will learn so much more when they enjoy the journey we take them on. a pillbox is ‘a small enclosed, partly underground, concrete fort used as an outpost during World War II’. This film covers a little about the Pillbox history along the River Chelmer near Little Waltham, Essex.
